Matomo safari lodge - 2024 rates

The Matomo guest experience rate includes:

Guests will be met at Welgevonden's East Gate for the transfer to the lodge. All guests are required to sign an indemnity form on arrival.

  • Secure parking will be provided at the East Gate.
  • Full use of the villa with a dedicated service team.
  • All meals, fully stocked bar, pastries, party snack, soft beverages, selection of wines, cocktails, local brands beers and spirits.
  • Transfer from East Gate to the lodge and personalized arrival.
  • Use of a private safari Land Rover game viewer with accredited field guide at your convenience.
  • Bush walks – on prior request (not permitted if under 16 years old).
  • Swedish massages.
  • Complimentary laundry.
  • Complimentary satellite WiFi.
  • Conservation Gate Levy of R265.00 / pers / night on behalf of the Reserve.

Additional chargeable experience includes:

  • Private vehicle, airplane or helicopter transfer
  • Local dance group for a personalized evening – on prior request.
  • Babysitting – on prior request
  • Emergency medical evacuation.

  • All rates are in South African Rand (ZAR), 15 % VAT included. Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
  • 2 nights minimum stay, unless otherwise agreed.
  • All meals, fully stocked bar, pastries, party snack, soft beverages, selection of wines, cocktails, local brands beers and spirits.
  • 4 adults guests minimum, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Early check-in and / or late check-out by prior arrangement and at no extra cost.
  • Children under 6 are admitted by prior arrangement (refer to our child policy for terms and conditions).
  • Children aged 6-15 receive a special rate reduction of 50% of the adult nightly rate only if the minimum occupancy rate of 4 adults is booked.

Child Policy

  • Matomo Safari Lodge welcomes children below 6 years of age with a child indemnity form signed by parents or guardians.
  • The suites can be converted to triple rooms on request prior arrival.

Cancellation Policy
  • No reservation may be assumed to be confirmed, amended or cancelled without written confirmation from the Matomo Safari Lodge's reservation office.
  • Matomo Safari Lodge will hold provisional booking as follows:

1-30 days before arrival: 24 hours
31-45 days before arrival: 72 hours
46-90 days before arrival: 7 days
91 days or more before arrival: 14 days
